Challenger problems depend on which engine you’ve got. The 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi tick is a known issue, often tied to lifter or roller failure, and it gets worse if you wait. Oil consumption can show up between changes, especially on Hemis with higher miles. Brake wear runs heavy on these cars, more so on the SRT and Scat Pack models that get driven the way they were built to be.
